The Heretic combines clean anatomical study with raw, expressive movement — a versatile reference library for artists looking for something more unconventional,
The Heretic is a bold collection of 2350+ high-resolution female figure references, created for artists who want to study anatomy, gesture, movement, balance, and expressive body language from a wide variety of angles.
The pack moves from clean anatomy-focused standing poses to much more dramatic and unconventional figure studies. You’ll find neutral front, side, and back views; A- and T-poses; elegant standing gestures; deep bends and stretches; twisting silhouettes; crouching and kneeling poses; seated studies; reclining and floor poses; and compositions using cubes and platforms for more complex weight distribution and perspective.
A large part of the collection explores expressive movement — arched backs, extended limbs, compressed poses, asymmetric gestures, unusual balance, and sculptural shapes that are especially useful for studying the line of action and how the body changes under tension.
The pack also introduces different visual moods through multiple lighting setups, ranging from soft studio illumination to strong directional light and deep shadows. These variations make it easier to study anatomy, volume, muscle definition, and form under changing light conditions
