Daily Sketching Vol. 2

The second Daily Sketching set: material for short, regular sessions so the only daily decision is whether to draw, never what to draw from. One model, listed at 169–170 cm, so consistent proportions make your own repeated errors visible.

A daily drawing habit usually fails for a boring reason: you run out of material, or you spend the first fifteen minutes looking for some. Volume two of the Daily Sketching series exists to remove that friction — a standing stock of poses to feed short, regular sessions, so the only decision each morning is whether to draw. What's in this pack

The second set in the Daily Sketching series, built for repeat use rather than one-off study. The listed measurements are height 169–170 cm, bust 84 cm, waist 65 cm, hips 94 cm, so proportions stay consistent across the set.

That consistency is the quiet advantage of a single-model pack, and it is worth understanding before you buy. Working through many different bodies teaches you variety. Working through one body many times teaches you that body — its limb lengths, its shoulder line, how its silhouette changes as it turns — until you can draw it from memory and then check yourself against the reference. That loop, draw from memory then correct against source, is what actually moves a practice forward. What you'll practice

Warm-ups. Two or three fast gestures before any real work, purely to get the arm moving from the shoulder rather than the wrist.

Timed ladders. Thirty seconds, then a minute, then two, then five, on the same pose or on similar ones. Compression teaches you what to leave out, which is most of what drawing skill consists of.
