The shoot started soft: a teal silk veil, gold coin chains, a grey wall and a slow turntable. Then the model picked up a longsword and the poses changed. Arms went up, weight dropped into the back foot, the silk started wrapping around the blade. Halfway through the day we killed the lights, rolled out a black backdrop and did it all again under one hard key light.
