Arrigo Orsi

Arrigo Orsi formerly was a tisiologist whom from the 1930’s devoted himself to photography, empirically learning photography rules with techniques and materials by is own invention.
Photography was for him a passion not a job but it reached a staggering outcome.In 1941 he was one of the first to use the Kodak Dye Transfer, a certain technique until then unknown of using color. More over, he had a strong eye for the composition often using olden section’s rules to compose his photograph.
After his participation on the activities of the Circolo Fotografico Milanese he founded in 1950 The Photographic Union with Piero De Blasi , Pietro Donzelli and Luigi Veronesi.
